Multilingual websites are becoming the standard. In Ukraine, translating a website into the state language is a legal requirement. We provide professional Ukrainian translations of websites while minimally affecting the code and core of your current system. This not only speeds up the process but also simplifies future updates and adjustments by new staff.
Order Website Translation into Ukrainian
According to Ukrainian law, website owners must have a Ukrainian version of their site. Failure to comply may result in forced closure of the site and fines ranging from 300–400 tax-free minimums. You can order translation of the entire website or selected pages into Ukrainian. We guarantee fast, high-quality, and professional results.
Ukrainian Website Translation
Most web pages today are created using templates. Unfortunately, templates in Ukrainian are limited. While you may create the content yourself, menus and interface elements need to be translated into Ukrainian. Translation includes:
- all page content;
- technical metadata;
- page microdata;
- internal optimization of images and graphics.
Translation must be done carefully and accurately; otherwise, the site will be poorly indexed by search engines, leading to reduced traffic, fewer clients, and lower conversion rates.
When to Order a Ukrainian Website Translation
The sooner you create a Ukrainian version, the better. Competition in the Ukrainian-language segment is growing daily, and early indexing by search engines improves your ranking and attracts more visitors. Soon, the law on the state language online will fully apply, requiring all operators in Ukraine to provide Ukrainian versions. Don’t wait — order professional, SEO-optimized translation now.
We translate category names, product cards, service pages, menu items, and interface elements. While this can be done independently if you have perfect language skills and SEO knowledge, online translators often produce results that are inaccurate or even humorous.
Hiring professionals ensures higher-quality results in less time and effort while avoiding technical mistakes that could compromise your website.
Ukrainian Website Translation Law
Adopted in the first reading by the Ukrainian parliament in October 2018 and effective from June 16, 2022, this law (“On the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language”) requires all websites offering goods or services in Ukraine to be in Ukrainian. This applies not only to online stores and catalogs but also to media sites, blogs, landing pages, social media pages of Ukrainian and foreign companies operating in Ukraine, and government websites. Commercial content in emails, SMS, chatbots, and similar formats must also be in Ukrainian.
The law requires that the Ukrainian version of a site load by default and that its volume be no less than other language versions (Russian and English). Mobile applications must also have a Ukrainian version. Non-compliant websites may face penalties ranging from fines of 3,400–6,800 UAH to restrictions on operating in Ukraine.
Benefits of a Ukrainian Website Version
Translating your website from Russian to Ukrainian helps avoid financial penalties, saves time, and prevents a drop in traffic or search engine indexing. A properly executed translation can increase site traffic by at least 10% without negative impact.
The cost of translation depends on the website type, volume of content, and subject matter. For technical, scientific, or medical terminology, we involve specialists in those fields to ensure accuracy and authenticity. The final price is determined after a thorough analysis of the content and workload. All translations are performed quickly, accurately, and with full SEO optimization.
